     Water is more than just a combination of one oxygen and two hydrogen molecules. When the H2O molecules are stable, the angle of the hydrogen molecules is 104.5°. This angle allows the molecules to align and interconnect with each other in order to form a three-dimensional geometric sphere called a “dodeca-hedron” - where the molecules actually realign with each other and microcluster to become H3O2. It is a combination of these twelve-sided dodecahedron spheres that ultimately forms the beautiful hexagonal water crystals, which produce the high levels of energetic vitality sometimes referred to as “living water”. 

     When water is filtered and purified, however, the energetic vitality of water is weakened and the 104.5° angle becomes unstable. As a result, the water molecules lose their ability to interconnect and form the dodecahedron sphere - and no longer forms the hexagonal crystals. Hence, these non-structured, processed waters become more and more acidic. These purified waters may be cleaner, but are lacking in important vital energies that promote superior hydration and cellular nourishment.

    Yes, water molecules act much like a battery that requires recharging when energetically deadened. In nature, when water is in its vaporous state as a cloud, the water molecules are recharged by special infrared frequencies of the sun. Conven-tional methods of revitalizing the water molecules, such as vortexing, crystal gem stones, magnets, or deionizers have only  a temporary effect on the water. Once the energetic source is removed from the water, it soon returns to its deadened, non-structured state.

     In most cases, yes, as purified waters are usually highly acidic and mineral waters are commonly pH neutral. The primary problem with mineral water is that most of these minerals are NOT bioavailable, meaning that these substances are not efficiently absorbed into the cells and therefore must be flushed out of the body.

     There are specific conductive minerals called “electrolytes” (primarily sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, & magnesium), which are important because these are what our cells use to maintain electrical impulses throughout the nervous system. When an individual exercises heavily, electrolytes are lost thru pronounced sweating, particularly sodium and potassium. These electrolytes need to be replaced in order to keep the bodily fluids constant. 

     What is important to understand is that these essential minerals and electrolytes need to be replaced through bioavailable sources. The best sources of bioavailable minerals are: sea salts, fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts and berries, and dairy products. When electrolyte minerals are added to water, the FDA requires that there be no references to “improved health”, because there is no evidence that these mineral supplements actually do improve health. In most cases, the labels indicate that the electrolytes are “added for taste”.

     Bottled alkaline waters are extremely hard waters containing high levels of calcium and magnesium. Nature is continuously producing pure, pH-neutral fresh water. All living organisms are therefore designed to hydrate most efficiently with clean, pH neutral waters. It is extremely rare to find highly alkaline waters anywhere on the planet, which are usually found in subterranean waters passing through alkalizing calcium and magnesium mineral deposits. Most alkaline bottled water simply add calcium and magnesium supplements to the purified water - as thorough research studies show that calcium supplements can cause a variety of health risks - including heart disease.

     Yes, there is a very simple way to detect if you are dehydrated. Watch the urine color. If your urine is dark yellow, you are dehydrated. The darker the yellow, the more dehydrated you are. When you are hydrated, the urine is much clearer and is only faintly yellow. Take the “Crystal Water Challenge” and test for yourself.      The Mayo Clinic recommends that men should drink roughly 3 liters (13 cups) of water per day and women should drink about 2.2 liters (9 cups) of water per day. The simple rule of thumb is to drink at least eight 8-ounce cups of water per day, which would be one-half gallon.
